A Milestone Moment: Lean Talent Certification Officially Sets Sail

This Green Belt Certification marks Xingfa Aluminium's Inaugural Lean Green Belt Talent Certification Event, representing a major milestone. Following preliminary project implementation and rigorous selection, twelve key lean personnel from key positions in production, process, and equipment delivered compelling defenses centered on their respective Kaizen Week projects. They fully demonstrated their enhanced capabilities in applying lean tools, problem analysis and resolution, and project management.

Mr. Huang Jinyang, Deputy Director of Guangxin Group's Operations Management Dept., delivers concluding remarks

In his address, Mr. Huang Jinyang, Deputy Director of Guangxin Group's Operations Management Department, emphasized that the core purpose of implementing Green Belt Certification is to ensure improvement projects are "managed with standardization and yield tangible benefits," achieving a dual harvest of project returns and talent development.

He outlined four key focus areas:

1.Adhere to standardized processes: Explore "short, flat, and fast" improvement cycles suited to Xingfa's reality, insisting on "equal emphasis on quantity and quality."

2.Deepen practical application of Lean tools: Promote the refined "PSP Nine-Step Method," innovatively launch specialized training like the "5Why Competition," and vigorously apply practical tools such as "Poka-Yoke/Mistake-Proofing."

3.Ensure efficient operation of Lean improvements: Integrate the "Five Elements" of the improvement process (Team, Goal, Time, Focus, Tools) with the "Three Elements" of results (Benefits, Talent, Methodology), solidifying the "5+3" concept of high-quality improvement.

4.Advance systematically: Incorporate the "Kaizen Week Quality Evaluation Standard" into the company's annual Lean evaluation system to provide clear guidance for the work.

Mr. Liu Yuntang, the leader in charge of Lean Projects, delivers concluding speech

Mr. Liu Yuntang, the leader in charge of Lean Projects, stated during the review: "Lean improvement is a process of continuous deep learning and constant progress. The company will institutionalize Green Belt certification work, advancing it quarterly."

He systematically outlined Xingfa's core pathway for promoting Lean management: "Guided by theoretical values, set precise targets, deeply explore root causes, innovate solutions, accumulate effective experience, and ultimately build a Lean management system with Xingfa characteristics."

He also pointed out that facing the current market environment, "Lean-driven Value Creation" must be placed in a prominent position, requiring increased investment and sustained effort. "Lean management is by no means an additional burden," he stressed, "but an effective means of applying scientific methods and systems thinking to solve practical production and operational problems. It is a crucial lever for management upgrading." He identified the current major bottleneck hindering deeper Lean advancement: "The shortage of Lean talent directly impacts the cultivation of a Lean culture and the exploration of improvement depth. The company urgently needs to cultivate a group of core Lean talents, starting from the grassroots level to ignite 'a single spark'."

He called upon all Xingfa personnel to view learning as the source of capability enhancement, deeply understanding that "learning enhances capabilities, potentially yielding hundredfold efficiency gains." He encouraged actively learning valuable practical experience from advanced benchmarks. The company will continue to increase Lean investment, calling on all employees to actively participate in Kaizen Weeks and project practice, to "hone skills and achieve mutual success" in practical application.

The successful hosting of this first Green Belt Certification opens a new chapter in Xingfa Aluminium's Lean management and talent echelon development. It serves not only as a test of past improvement achievements but also as a mobilization order for deepening Lean and cultivating talent in the future. Step by step, we cover a thousand miles; gathering small streams, we form a mighty river. It is believed that through the joint efforts of all Xingfa people, the seeds of Lean management will take root, blossom, and bear fruit in the fertile ground of Xingfa Aluminium, injecting a continuous and powerful driving force into the company's high-quality development!
